The main entrance has a transom and sidelights, and a three-bay L-shaped porch with a shed roof wraps the south and west elevations on square posts and turned-wood balusters. Jig-sawn brackets, pedimented window and door surrounds, and jig-sawn bargeboards in the gable ends add decorative detail. A front-projecting ell has angled corners and more brackets. Surveyors in 1986 judged it an outstanding example of an L-plan dwelling in Cuero, and it remains in good condition as a residence.
