The office, built in 1910 by contractor E.J. Jenkins for G.S. Parker, Sr., is a one-story load-bearing masonry building of tan brick with a flat roof, a three-bay facade, a wood canopy on chain supports and a three-part parapet with corbeled brickwork. The cashier's cage and other original interior details survive. A large one-story warehouse with a central clerestory covers most of the adjacent block to the north, and a smaller open tin-covered shed stands on the next block. The other buildings followed the office, and the current layout was in place by 1925. All three buildings contribute to the property. The company supplied lumber for many of Bryan's surviving historic homes, and that role in the town's physical development, together with the nearly unaltered office, is the basis for its listing.","period_of_significance":null,"architect_builder":"Jenkins, E.J.
