The frame dwelling is covered in brick and stone veneer and has an asymmetrical plan. A gable roof with composition shingles tops the building, and steeply pitched gables face the street. Wood double-hung windows have multiple lights, and an oriel window adds detail. Other features include a single-door main entrance, a one-bay entry porch on the north elevation, quoining, an exterior brick chimney with a corbeled cap, and an elaborate chimney on the facade. Marion Foshee, an architect from Dallas, designed the house, and O.B. Bennett served as contractor. The survey records describe it as one of the city's finest Tudor examples, which is the basis for its architectural significance. The house has been used as a residence throughout its history and is recorded in good condition on a lot of less than one acre.","period_of_significance":null,"architect_builder":"Architect Marion Foshee (the significance text says Martin Foshee); contractor O.B.
