Its walls are built of ashlar-cut stone under a gable roof covered with wood shingle and standing-seam metal. The symmetrical five-bay front faces east and has stone lintels and sills, while rubble-stone flat arches span an opening at the rear. An exterior stone chimney with a corbeled cap carries a metal tie rod, and the foundation is stone. The windows are wood sash with two-over-two lights, probably not original, and the east entry has been closed. A frame addition extends to the south. The house was recorded as one of only four stone residences remaining in Georgetown, and its masonry is noted for craftsmanship. It sits on a lot of less than an acre, with two large oak trees to the east, and is now surrounded by duplex public housing built around 1970. Its condition was rated fair in 1984.","period_of_significance":null,"architect_builder":null,"architectural_style":"Vernacular","criteria":[],"status_note":"Condition rated fair; entry altered and closed, frame addition to south; used as a residence; surrounded by modern public housing duplexes.","vacant_flag":false,"machine_generated":true,"model":"claude-sonnet-5-5","prompt_version":"v1.0-2026-10-29","generated_at":"2026-10-29 02:54:21.292824-05","source_pdf":"https://s3.amazonaws.com/NARAprodstorage/opastorage/live/21/9708/40970821/content/electronic-records/rg-079/NPS_TX/86000191.pdf"},"photo":null,"district":null,"sources":{"nps_snapshot_date":"2026-05-22","nara_catalog":"https://catalog.archives.gov/id/40970821","wikipedia":null,"wikidata":"https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q110002604"},"indexable":true,"url":"https://nationalhistoricalregister.com/texas/williamson-county/mcknight-ebb-house-86000191/"}
