It follows a central-hall plan and has beveled wood siding, a gable roof with composition shingles, and metal ridge cresting. The symmetrical three-bay front faces east and has wood-sash double-hung windows with two-over-two lights and a single-door entrance with a transom. A three-bay porch runs across the east side, with a gable over the central bay, shed roofs over the side bays, turned wooden posts and jigsawn brackets. Imbricated shingles fill the gable ends of the porch and the south elevation, and jigsawn bargeboards decorate each gable. A brick chimney on the north side is in ruins, and frame additions have been made at the rear. A small frame garage stands on the lot. The house remains in residential use on its original site in a mixed residential and commercial area north of downtown. It was recognized as a good late nineteenth-century example of its type.","period_of_significance":null,"architect_builder":null,"architectural_style":"Vernacular","criteria":[],"status_note":"Condition listed as good, with rear additions; present use residential.","vacant_flag":false,"machine_generated":true,"model":"claude-sonnet-5-5","prompt_version":"v1.0-2026-10-29","generated_at":"2026-10-29 02:54:21.430486-05","source_pdf":"https://s3.amazonaws.com/NARAprodstorage/opastorage/live/19/9708/40970819/content/electronic-records/rg-079/NPS_TX/86000176.pdf"},"photo":{"url_800":"https://nationalhistoricalregister.com/media/86000176/66bed12cfa-800.webp","url_1600":"https://nationalhistoricalregister.com/media/86000176/66bed12cfa-1600.webp","licence":"CC BY 4.0","author":"Larry D.
