It has intersecting bellcast gable roofs and a projecting gable-end bay at the front, decorated with patterned shingles and two windows with many small panes. A one-story porch wraps to one side on thin Ionic columns beneath an entablature. The central front window has a leaded glass transom, and the side-placed front door has an oval glass light. Clapboard covers the walls, and brick piers with lattice support the house. Survey recorders in 1980 found it in good condition, with only minor changes to the doorway and a restoration under way. It was listed as a good local example of its type that retains its original detail, with architecture as the area of significance. The house also survives beside Yale Street, where many neighboring buildings have been demolished or substantially altered by commercial development.","period_of_significance":"1900--","architect_builder":"Edward Calvert (builder)","architectural_style":"Colonial Revival influence","criteria":[],"status_note":"Condition described as good; minor alterations to the doorway and the house was being restored at the time of the survey.
