It rests on a stone foundation and has a three-story tower at its northeast front corner, facing east toward Ladycliff College. Simple cutwork moldings edge the roof, bays and an east window hood, while console brackets with pendants support the roof over the front entrance. A veranda on the south side has three Doric columns and a plain railing. Two small one-story additions on the west side were added after the original construction. The house was owned in 1875 by a Dr. J.M., and an 1891 map shows the parcel as part of the Church of the Holy Innocents, so it may have served as a rectory. It is considered the most significant Italian Villa building in Highland Falls because it retains its original detailing and has had no major alterations.
