Built on a sandstone foundation, it has clapboard siding, a gable roof with asphalt shingles, a T-shaped plan and a small wing extending to the rear. The elaborate main entrance and Greek fretwork in the small second-floor windows in the entablature set it apart. It closely resembles the nearby Clark House, though it is simpler in design. The house was moved to its present site some time ago. P.A. Gregg owned it in 1874, and little else is known of its origins; it may have been built by Reull Lang, who lived across the street. A large barn and other outbuildings stand to the rear, and the house, outbuildings and five acres of land were included in the listing.
