Its core is a central story-and-a-half block with frieze windows set in a wide entablature, a corner entrance with a fluted architrave, and six-over-six windows. Victorian additions include a bracketed porch, chamfered columns and a hip-roofed bay window with two-over-two lights. Modern additions include a garage, a cupola and full-height windows. The house sits on a slight knoll, with woods on one side and a newer housing development and artificial lake on the other. It does not appear on the 1856 map but is shown on the 1874 map. Harvey Miller's parents moved to Bath in 1827 after buying about 800 acres in the southwest part of the township, where his father ran a tavern and served as postmaster. Harvey, one of ten children, farmed and raised stock on 84 acres that he still held in 1910. The house is still used as a residence.","period_of_significance":null,"architect_builder":null,"architectural_style":"Greek Revival, Italianate","criteria":[],"status_note":"Used as a residence; exterior condition recorded as good.
