It is also associated with Dr. Donovan Robeson, a physician, surgeon and Darke County probate judge from 1902 to 1908.","narrative":"Built in 1902 at 330 West Fourth Street in Greenville, this two and one-half story brick house is a late Queen Anne design of irregular plan. A round corner turret with a conical patterned slate roof and finial marks the front, and a stone veranda with rockface rails and piers runs across the lower level. Polygonal bays, a box oriel window and a complex slate roof of gables and hips add variety. Inside, the trim is well preserved, with a mission-style fireplace, a built-in walnut buffet, boxed beam ceilings and tracery art glass windows on the stair landings. A carport and garage were added at the rear around 1934. Dr. Donovan Robeson, a physician and surgeon who trained at Ohio Medical College and practiced in Illinois and Arcanum before moving to Greenville, had the house built with his offices in the basement. He served as Darke County Probate Judge from 1902 to 1908. The house is regarded as the city's finest brick Queen Anne.","period_of_significance":"1900-","architect_builder":null,"architectural_style":"Queen Anne","criteria":[],"status_note":"Condition rated excellent; occupied as a private residence with an office in the basement.","vacant_flag":false,"machine_generated":true,"model":"claude-sonnet-5-5","prompt_version":"v1.0-2026-10-29","generated_at":"2026-10-29 02:53:10.460826-05","source_pdf":"https://s3.amazonaws.com/NARAprodstorage/lz/electronic-records/rg-079/NPS_OH/76001411.pdf"},"photo":{"url_800":"https://nationalhistoricalregister.com/media/76001411/ae1828d2d4-800.webp","url_1600":"https://nationalhistoricalregister.com/media/76001411/ae1828d2d4-1600.webp","licence":"Public domain","author":"Nyttend","credit_html":"<a href=\"https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Dr._Donovan_Robeson_House.jpg\" rel=\"noopener\">Nyttend</a>, Public domain, via Wikimedia Commons","source_page":"https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Dr._Donovan_Robeson_House.jpg"},"district":null,"sources":{"nps_snapshot_date":"2026-05-22","nara_catalog":"https://catalog.archives.gov/id/71987989","wikipedia":"https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donovan_Robeson_House","wikidata":"https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q5296857"},"indexable":true,"url":"https://nationalhistoricalregister.com/ohio/darke-county/robeson-dr-donovan-house-76001411/"}
