The description shows a farmstead that keeps buildings and features from several periods, from the 1820s to the early twentieth century.","narrative":"Corby Farm Complex is a 38-acre farmstead on Corby Road in the Town of Lima, between Honeoye Falls and Lima in Livingston County, New York. Until 1992 it formed the central part of a 240-acre farm. The farmhouse has a timber-framed main block thought to date from 1820 to 1830, a mid-nineteenth-century kitchen wing, and changes made in 1877 and around 1900. The most prominent addition is a Colonial Revival wraparound porch with a porte-cochere. Nearby are a brick smokehouse, a pump house, a privy inscribed 1855, a garage of about 1910, gate posts, a clothes drying pole, two concrete silos and a hewn-frame English barn with a wagon shed. A perennial garden was designed in 1959 and rehabilitated in the 1990s. Former pasture, cultivated fields, remnants of an old orchard and a 15-acre hardwood grove along Spring Brook complete the property. The complex was listed for its agricultural history and the architecture of its buildings.","period_of_significance":null,"architect_builder":null,"architectural_style":"Federal, Italianate, and Colonial Revival","criteria":["A"],"status_note":"Still used as a single dwelling with agricultural fields; the dairy barn above its foundation burned in 1971.","vacant_flag":false,"machine_generated":true,"model":"claude-sonnet-5-5","prompt_version":"v1.0-2026-10-29","generated_at":"2026-10-29 02:51:54.120999-05","source_pdf":"https://s3.amazonaws.com/NARAprodstorage/lz/electronic-records/rg-079/NPS_NY/08000273.pdf"},"photo":null,"district":null,"sources":{"nps_snapshot_date":"2026-05-22","nara_catalog":"https://catalog.archives.gov/id/75313403","wikipedia":"https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corby_Farm_Complex","wikidata":"https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q5169815"},"indexable":true,"url":"https://nationalhistoricalregister.com/new-york/livingston-county/corby-farm-complex-08000273/"}
